Our Decoration Day parade and service will be held on Sunday, June 2nd.,

The parade will form up for 1:00 pm at the rear parking lot of the Legion and will proceed north on Ormond, west on Albert, south on Front, and then west on Clairmont to the Battle of Beaverdams Park for the laying of a wreath to honour our fallen American comrades.

It will then continue east on Clairmont, north on Chapel, west on Albert, to Memorial Park for our service and the laying of wreaths to honour veterans of Canada’s military. It will then return to the branch for a light lunch and refreshments.

The Branch will also host a chicken BBQ on Saturday, June 1st followed by live music by “the BASH”. The BBQ will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 pm with the band going on at 7:00 pm. Join us for dinner along with our meat draws and 50-50 draw.

Due to an error last month the Nomination and Elections for your Branch Executive have been rescheduled to our Regular meeting on Tuesday, May 21st at 7:30 pm in the upstairs hall. (The meeting has been postponed one day due to the holiday.)

If you plan to attend please bring your Legion membership card. You will need to present it to attend and vote.

If you are planning on running for any position and will not be available for the elections you must submit a letter to the President or Secretary, before the meeting, of your intentions to stand for the position.
